Homes in Foreclosure

Los Angeles is known to be the home of stars. Los Angeles is more like home to the homeless. The homeless population appears to be growing daily, do to the increase in homes being foreclosed does to circumstances that even the owners can hardly understand. Not one child should face the problem of being homeless. Homes have been at a high fore closer rate for a few years now. Homes in the Los Angeles area from Hollywood, to as far as long beach have been effected. This situation is almost a state wide epidemic. After something like for closers where do families go?
In the L.A. Times article “ not just for kids: no passengers beyond this point “ by Jennifer Choldenko she discusses the story of three kids who experience fore closer. The three children should not, under any circumstances go through a phase of being homeless.  Families with children should be aided instead of being left homeless. Children need their parents and a stable place to live a family, such as the family in the article, should not face such a tragedy. The three children in the article most likely share a backseat in a car as a bed. Are the parents the ones to blame? Being homeless is a life changing experience but not in a positive way.
Many people are wondering why there has been such an increase in the last decade in home for closer. A big reason why forecloses are on the rise is the economic issues America has been having. Ever since the war began America has been heading into a downward spiral leading to another depression. Many people were laid off so they could no longer afford to pay their house payments.
Homes in Los Angeles are bought and sold almost as much as jewelry. Many may say that the owner is irresponsible and cannot keep a house.  However, many families cannot afford a home after losing a job especially with the way the economy is right now. Many families do not deserve to go though home foreclosur
